MAPS College students were crowned Champions in the Inter College/University category of the EKIDEN 2018 road race last Saturday! Ten students from MAPS College, supported by our team of officials, ran alongside more than 25 other teams on the day, with both the Men’s and Women’s teams being crowned Champions of the Inter College/University category on completion of the event!
The relay race was organized by Kuda Husen Sports Academy, with teams of five completing a half-marathon (21.1km) around Hulhumale’. Each runner completed 4.2km of the total distance, with a number of College staff also taking part in the run.
The MAPS College teams were sponsored by the College, and included students coming together from a range of College courses to compete.
