Throughout our history, MAPS College and MAPS International High have always implemented academic and educational innovations to develop our students, with the purpose of improving the quality of the education landscape. Our newest innovation is the launch of the first ever MAPS Brand Ambassadors scheme.
MAPS Brand Ambassadors will represent MAPS College and MAPS International High at internal and external events, showcasing the values of the organisations and our students. The Brand Ambassadors will be responsible for engaging with the public to raise awareness of MAPS and explain the opportunities for the public provided by the College and International High School.
The Brand Ambassadors were selected from the current students at MAPS College and MAPS International High, as we wanted to showcase the qualities and strengths of our very own students. All students were invited to join the race for the MAPS Brand Ambassador positions in August, with selection activities and presentations whittling the field down to six finalists. The finalists were tested through a series of further presentations, evaluated by a judging panel consisting of the Acting Deputy Rector of MAPS and the chairman of FALIM Group, the parent company of MAPS. At the end of the process four students were selected as the first ever MAPS Brand Ambassadors.
The four selected MAPS Brand Ambassadors are:
1. Aishath Gahir
2. Maadhih Mohamed
3. Ibrahim Lirar Hussain Mohamed
4. Eman Ibrahim
MAPS Brand Ambassadors will be awarded a full scholarship at MAPS College up to and including Masters degree level studies. We hope this innovative program, which is the first of its kind in the Maldives, will provide our students with another avenue to display their skills and talents and provide a further opportunity for the four selected Brand Ambassadors.
